LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A road was closed following a crash that injured at least one person in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.

The Regional Transportation Commission has announced a road closure following a crash that caused injury. (FOX5)

The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. Officials said both directions on Jones Boulevard between Sahara and Eldora Avenue would be closed due to the crash.

Police did not immediately disclose the circumstances around the crash or the extent of the unidentified person’s injury.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as the crash is under investigation.
