Alexander City, Ala. (WRBL)— A man has died after falling from the roof of a business on Alabama Street in downtown Alexander City.

According to authorities, the man was performing repair work when he fell on Monday afternoon August 25th. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A death investigation is now underway.

The man's identity is being withheld until family members can be notified.
