Riverside County is included in an updated flood advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 4:42 p.m. The advisory is in effect until 5:41 p.m.

According to the NWS San Diego CA , “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”

“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways,” the NWS said. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.”
