It was a full house at Bimini's Oyster Bar and Seafood Cafe in Greenville for a campaign event that Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC 1st), a candidate for governor of South Carolina, billed as "the mother of all town halls."
Numerous attendees wore hats or shirts emblazoned with the name of President Donald Trump or his signature slogan, "Make America Great Again."
Mace tapped into the MAGA fervor, touting her support for Trump. She described herself as a fighter and said she's "not part of the establishment -- they don't like me."
In her 45-minute talk, Mace discussed plans for reducing taxes, reforming law enforcement, and making sure that schoolchildren are able to read before advancing past third grade.
