NEW YORK — Devon Walker has left the cast of "Saturday Night Live" after three seasons, the comedian announced Monday on social media ahead of the NBC sketch show's 51st season.

Walker joined in 2022 as a featured player during Season 48 before being promoted to the repertory cast for Seasons 49 and 50.

The comedian shared the news in an Instagram post featuring behind-the-scenes photos, a screenshot of a text message to someone reading "I'm out," and a statement reflecting on his time with the late-night institution, along with the caption "me and baby broke up."

"Me and the show did three years together, and sometimes it was really cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell," Walker wrote in the post.
