A Wilmington man is dead following a motorcycle crash earlier this month.

According to Delaware State Police, the man was traveling northbound on 141 Sunday August 10th when he took the ramp to eastbound Route 52. But, he went out of control and hit a guardrail.

State Police said 21-year-old Zack Napolitano was thrown from the motorcycle. He was hospitalized for two weeks, but died Sunday.

The cr ash and investig ation led to a ro ad closure of about three hours th at d ay.
