SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Salina City Commission has approved a new city manager.
On Monday, commissioners unanimously voted to authorize interim city manager Jacob Wood to take on the role permanently.
Wood was appointed interim earlier this year after Mike Schrage’s resignation. He had served as deputy city manager since 2019 and, before that, worked in city management in Hays and Oakley.
His annual salary will be $235,000.
