YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Next year will be the 100th for the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. Its first program was broadcast on WKBN radio, which was also in its first year.

Over the weekend, musicians in the symphony questioned if there would be a 100th season. Usually by this time, the symphony's season schedule would have been released, but it hasn't been so far this year.

Concerns about the upcoming concert season became public on Saturday morning by way of a short social media post by the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra Musicians.

The symphony's musicians have two concerns.

First, the 2025-26 concert schedule has not been released, and their contract states the schedule must be released by Aug. 1.
