BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Residents of Boardman's Westview Drive were at Monday evening's township trustees meeting to express concerns about the parking on their street when St. Charles School is dismissing.

The school is located at the corner of Westview and U.S. Route 224.

Resident Anna DeAscentis said people start parking on both sides of Westview starting as early as 1:45 p.m. for a 2:20 p.m. dismissal.

The west side of the street prohibits parking at any time. She said vehicles often back up along Route 224 as far as the Boardman Plaza waiting to pick students up.

"Just the other day, I was coming home for work. There's only one lane to get on the street when you're turning off of 224, and in front of me was a car and a bus head-to-head. Nobody was going to move. Plus, none of the
