COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSPA) - Upstate voters had the opportunity to hear from two Republican gubernatorial candidates, Attorney General Alan Wilson and U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, as they campaigned in Greenville and Laurens counties.

Both candidates outlined their plans for the state if elected, addressing packed venues in their respective events.

Both highlighted similar goals, if elected.

Tax cuts and unnecessary spending.

Nancy Mace's event, billed as the 'Mother of All Town Halls,' focused on education, tax cuts, and crime. She proposed freezing spending at the 2023 fiscal year level and providing permanent tax cuts for revenue above that level.
