NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The future of CHI St. Vincent Field at Dickey-Stephens Park and the Arkansas Travelers who call it home was the focus of a city meeting Tuesday night.

Mayor Terry Hartwick invited representatives from Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), the ownership group of the Travelers, to address city leaders as ongoing contract negotiations continue.

Speaking on behalf of the company was Henry Shepherd, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Government Relations. Shepherd told council members that DBH views North Little Rock as a long-term home for the franchise.

“We would like to play a small part in propelling forward the vision that you guys have before you every single day,” Shepherd said.
