SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) -- Drivers in Sangamon County have the chance to shape the future of their roads.

IDOT is working with communities across the state to develop comprehensive safety action plans to help build safer roads. If you live in Sangamon County you can take a brief survey detailing your safety experiences while walking, driving, or biking.

The initiative is funded by a U.S. Department of Transportation grant and is part of the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All program.
