Springfield - The Springfield Armory National Historic Site (NHS) is proud to announce a community-wide celebration to mark its launch of a series of commemorations of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution over the next year.
The public is invited to a free, family-friendly event on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., held on the historic grounds of the Springfield Armory and Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) campus at 1 Armory Square. The event is in partnership with Massachusetts Grand Lodge of Masons, TradesUp, the Eric Sloane Museum, the Massachusetts National Guard and the Daughters of the Revolution, Mercy Warren chapter and Henry Knox’s Artillery Regiment.
