OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police are searching for the suspect in a shooting in North Omaha that left one person hurt Monday night.
OPD says there were multiple reports of shots fired just before 8:30 p.m. near 39th and Ellison Circle. Officers were in the area on a separate call when they also heard the shots.
Police found a 49-year-old woman hit once by the gunfire. Paramedics took her to the hospital with serious injuries. She is expected to survive.
