MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Several Republican-led states have sent National Guard troops to Washington, D.C.
News 9 spoke with Gov. Kelly Ayotte, who said New Hampshire has not been asked.
"They've been already asked to step up for a number of missions this fall and the coming year. Right now, they are preparing for those missions," Ayotte said.

States with troops in the nation's capital include West Virginia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee and Ohio.
Vermont Republican Gov. Phil Scott denied a request from the White House to send troops.
