AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Randall Raiders are ready for the first whistle in just a few days, hoping to build on last season’s success and go farther this year.

This team has a completely different look than last year.

“We had a lot of holes to fill this year,” said Randall head football coach Dan Sherwood. “That always happens at the high school level, but we’ve got some really hungry young kids that are ready to step into those roles and fill those shoes. Those guys did a really good job of setting the standard that we want to have here and to just have that excitement from the young guys. It means a lot...it means your program’s headed in the right direction.”
