LOS ANGELES -- Upon leaving San Diego this past weekend, the Dodgers felt like they took care of business against the Padres over the course of the season. Down the stretch, it's all about attacking the rest of the schedule in order to stay on top of the NL West.

Monday night was a good start.

The Dodgers rolled to a series-opening 7-0 win over the Reds behind a multihomer effort from Andy Pages and seven scoreless innings from Emmet Sheehan. Meanwhile, the Padres fell to the Mariners, giving L.A. a one-game lead in the division .
