New Jerseyans will get an early taste of autumn this week, with temperatures dropping as a cold front crosses the region Monday evening.

Temperatures reached the low to mid-80s in many areas of the Garden State this afternoon, but it likely won’t get this warm again for at least six or seven days, according to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service .
