Monroe County Community College is offering five fast-track, noncredit career training programs this fall. These programs are eligible for the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, which provides up to $4,000 for individuals who graduated from high school in 2023 or later, according to a community announcement.

The eligible programs include Pharmacy Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, Dental Assisting and Clinical Medical Assistant. To qualify for the scholarship, students must be Michigan residents for at least the past year, have graduated from high school in Michigan with a diploma or certificate of completion, and have not yet earned an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Pharmacy Technician Program

The Pharmacy Technician Program begins Sept. 29 and ends Dec. 10. Tuition is $2,399.
