The Hickory Farmers Market’s Full Moon Dinner Series returns with the "Under the Corn Moon" dinner.

The dinner on Sept. 6 features six courses from local chefs prepared with seasonal offerings from local farmers.

Proceeds from the dinner will go toward farmers market programs such as the Double Bucks program, which helps SNAP recipients afford fresh, healthy food from the market.

The menu includes seafood cannoli made with fig preserves and shortbread, grits and pork ragu, stewed chicken and okra with sweet potato croquettes and butternut squash and other dishes.

Chefs for the event include Ben Sullivan, Ashley Pope, Calvin Reyes, Joey Mansueto, Zack Harkins, Jason Trivette and Rick Doherr.

The price of admission includes one drink ticket for the bar and food.
