The Indiana Fever's playoff hopes are alive and well.

The Fever (20-18) climbed from eighth place in the WNBA standings to sixth place after a dominant 95-75 win over the Seattle Storm (20-19) on Tuesday at Indianapolis' Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tuesday’s matchup was a must-win for the Fever, who came out with a sense of urgency and built a 32-point lead over the Storm.

“For us, going into this game we talked about how this is a big game for us and an important game for us considering the standings,” said Fever center Aliyah Boston, who led the way with a game-high 27 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals in the 20-point victory. “This is a great win for us before we head on the road.”

Fever guard Odyssey Sims added 22 points in her sixth game with the Fever, while Kelsey Mitchell finished with 21 points. Point guard Caitlin Clark (right groin) remains sidelined indefinitely.

Seattle forward Nneka Ogwumike had a team-high 17 points in the loss. Brittney Sykes was the only other Storm player to reach double-digits with 12 points. The Storm drop to eighth place in the standings with the loss.

No drama in this one. Indiana keeps the pedal down to improve to 20-18 on the season.

Aliyah Boston, Odyssey Sims and Kelsey Mitchell combined for 70 points in the victory. Indiana had 42 rebounds to Seattle's 21.

The Fever are in control entering the final 10 minutes in Indianapolis.

A strong start to the third quarter helped the team push its lead to as many as 21 points in the frame.

Aliyah Boston has been a force, overcoming a slow start from the field. She has a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds.

Halftime: Fever 50, Storm 39

Kelsey Mitchell (16 points), Odyssey Sims (10) and Aliyah Boston (11) have all scored in double figures for Indiana to give the Fever a double-digit lead at halftime.

Indiana is shooting nearly 50% from the floor and has hit six of its 11 3-point attempts (54.5%).

Seattle is shooting 14-for-28 from the floor (50%) but has hit just three of its nine 3-point attempts. It's also turned the ball over nine times to the Fever's four turnovers.

End of first quarter: Fever 26, Storm 20

Kelsey Mitchell has done the heavy lifting for Indiana so far, with 12 of the team's 26 points. She's 4-for-8 from the field, including 2-for-3 from 3. Odyssey Sims has chipped in seven points for Indiana in six minutes.

Nneka Ogwumike leads the way for the Storm with eight points.
