While walking near a canal in Price, Utah, a couple suddenly heard unusual sounds coming from the water.

Curious, they leaned in closer and noticed something furry moving along the canal’s edge.

When they realized what it was, they were stunned.

A Dog In Need

A small, helpless pup had fallen into the canal and was desperately trying to climb out.

Because the area was fenced in with barbed wire, the couple couldn’t reach the dog themselves. But leaving her behind wasn’t an option. They quickly called the local police department for help.

Captain Brandon Ratcliffe picked up the call. As soon as he learned what was going on, he rushed to the scene.
