Due to its proximity to Jasper, Wapiti Campground is a favourite among families and first-time campers. This lakeside spot offers modern amenities alongside stunning views of the Athabasca River. With over 350 sites available, Wapiti caters to both tent campers and RV enthusiasts. Note that it is currently operating at limited capacity due to wildfire damage. This is one of the best campgrounds in Jasper and fills up quickly, especially during peak summer months.
