Valentina Gomez, a GOP congressional candidate in Texas, posted a campaign ad Monday that depicts her burning a copy of the Quran – the central religious text of Islam – using a flamethrower, and pledging to “end Islam in Texas” if elected.

"Your daughters will be r----, and your sons beheaded unless we stop Islam once and for all,” Gomez can be heard saying in the video. “We’re done turning the other cheek. Remember, David didn’t pray for Goliath – he killed him. America is a Christian nation, so those terrorist Muslims can f— off to any of the 57 Muslim nations. There is only one true god, and that is the god of Israel.”

Gomez moved to the United States from her home country of Columbia in 2009, settling in New Jersey before launching a failed bid for secretary of state in Missouri, finishing in sixth place in the Republican primary election with under 7.5% of the vote. Now, she’s making a bid for Congress in Texas, pledging on her fundraising page to “go after the pedophiles, criminals and corrupt politcans,” a likely misspelling of ‘politicians.’

The Texas congressional candidate has routinely sparked outrage with her violent rhetoric, previously posting a video of herself shooting a dummy in the back of its head as a demonstration as to how to handle “rapists and murders,” proclaiming execution by firearm to be “cheaper than deportation.”
