ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - An actress from the “Power” TV series universe was arrested in DeKalb County, according to jail records.

Alexus Geier was arrested on Aug. 18 and charged with third-degree cruelty to children and disorderly conduct.

Jail records don’t say what exactly led up to her arrest, but the incident happened on Aug. 10 and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest.

She was released on Aug. 19 shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Geier, who’s also known by her stage name, Alix Lapri, played Effie Morales on “Power” and it’s spin-off series “Power Book II: Ghost.” The original show aired from 2014 to 2020, followed by the spin-off which lasted until 2024.
