The S&P 500 was barely budging in the first few minutes of trading Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 21 points, or 0.1%, and the Nasdaq composite was flat. Boeing rose about 1% after Korean Air announced a $50 billion deal with the company that includes buying more than 100 aircraft. Treasury yields were little changed in the bond market. Crude oil prices fell. European markets were mostly lower and Asian markets closed lower overnight.
