It’s time to light the lights and raise the curtain on the 19th annual Cleveland Jewish FilmFest presented by the Mandel Jewish Community Center, which will put the spotlight on 33 films in a variety of genres that will be shown in local venues from Sept. 4 through Sept. 14.

This year marks the largest film festival that has been put on by the Mandel JCC, according to arts and culture manager Deborah Bobrow, with more short films than ever before and a special program consisting of three longer shorts shown in concession.
