Nathan Miller booted home a hat trick on Saturday and helped send the Thunder Bay Chill under-16 boys into the Ontario Cup outdoor soccer final in the process.

The Chill took control early in their semifinal match against the Jarvis SC Academy. They rode Miller’s opening goal in the sixth minute before rolling to a 4-0 win at Civic Stadium in Oshawa.

Thunder Bay will face Toronto United in southern Ontario in the Cup final on Sept. 13.

Miller added another marker in the 42nd minute and teammate Brayden Pearson made it 3-0 just three minutes. Miller’s hat trick goal in the 57th minute rounded out the scoring.

Chill goalkeepers Finley Hebert and Nathan Piccinen split duties in net to earn the shutout.
