PeacemakerSeason 2 premiered on HBO Max last week and it instantly blasted to the top of the streaming charts, as viewers celebrated the long-awaited return of John Cena's eponymous anti-hero. It turns out that absence does make the heart grow fonder — or, at least, the longing gets stronger — as James Gunn's The Suicide Squad spin-off managed to smash a franchise record in no time at all (despite a three-year gap between seasons). It shouldn't be too surprising given its glowing reviews, but it's certainly good news for the DCU.
