Life is difficult to plan — especially a life in sports. No matter how much you train, how many hours you dedicate or how hard you focus, the final result is almost never what you aim for. There are too many variables. You either fall short of what you hoped for or overshoot your mark entirely.
Shenendehowa High School alumna Hannah Reale knows this reality well, having seen both sides of it. Her competitive running career followed great achievements and unexpected obstacles, and now, at the end of it, she’s at peace, ready to be inducted into the Greater Capital Region Track, Field and Cross Country Hall of Fame.
