Nelly Furtado fans think the singer's latest onstage outfit is clapping back at body shamers.
When the 46-year-old took the stage at Manchester Pride on Aug. 24, she sported an oversized T-shirt featuring an optical-illusion outline of a woman's body.
The design showed a woman's torso, including a partially exposed midriff and cleavage under a white tank top and black bra. The woman in the drawing was also wearing a belt with the phrase "Whoa, Nelly!" − an apparent nod to her 2000 debut album of the same name.
While the "I'm Like A Bird" singer didn't address the reason for her outfit choice, social media was quick to suggest she was sending a message to people commenting on her body.
