Romulus Entertainment has released the first image for its upcoming pic Killing Castro , which is set to make its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month. The film stars Al Pacino , Diego Boneta , Xolo Maridueña , KiKi Layne, Alexander Ludwig, Ron Livingston, Kendrick Sampson, Nicole Beharie, Logan Marshall Green and Titus Welliver.

The image features Boneta playing Fidel Castro and Sampson portraying Malcolm X in the same scene emulating a real life photo that was taken of the two revolutionaries when they met in the 60s.

Eif Rivera will direct the movie from a script by Leon Hendrix, Thomas DeGrezia and Colin Bateman. This will be Rivera’s first feature film.

Killing Castro will be produced by Romulus Entertainment’s Brad Feinstein, along with Christina
