WEST CONCORD, Minn. — Last year, when Michaela Neuzil decided to take on the task of running her own chiropractic office in West Concord, Minnesota, population 861, she wanted to also embed herself in the community.
"Being as active in the community as I could, doing the volunteer fire and ambulance," Neuzil said. "I was on the bowling league — anything that I could do to see people."
In July 2024, with encouragement from her fiancé David Buck, Neuzil bought West Concord Chiropractic & Wellness from retiring chiropractor Curtis Rapp.
"He comes from a background of farming, entrepreneurship," Neuzil said of Buck. "Right off the bat, he was very encouraging, push people to their limits of their potential. ... He was literally the backbone of me buying the practice."
