A previous Superman actor wants to join James Gunn's DC Universe as Batman for The Brave and The Bold movie. With the DCU's Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" underway, one of the big projects that is in development at DC Studios is the Batman reboot for Gunn's new superhero universe .

The Brave and The Bold movie is set to center on Bruce Wayne building his father/son dynamic with Damian Wayne, a.k.a. Robin, while also tackling the larger Bat-Family in Gunn's DCU. While casting has yet to start, several actors in Hollywood have expressed their interest in taking on the iconic superhero role for DC Studios .
