A WRESTLER who intervened to stop Raja Jackson during his horrifying attack on Stuart Smith has shed further light on the incident.

Jackson, son of UFC icon Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, left Smith hospitalised with severe injuries in the violent attack.

He body slammed the veteran to the canvas before pounding his head at least 20 times.

The shocking beating was brought to an end when security and other wrestlers intervened.

Douglas Malo, one of those who helped break up the fight, has now reflected on the incident.

He told the Scaling Up Podcast: " I got a whisper that something's not right and I might be needed to check a scenario and whether this guy is going to do a spot."

The attack left the injured victim choking on his own blood and teeth .
