Former Stirling County youngster Eva Donaldson had her dad’s special tunes ringing in her ears as she helped Scotland strike the perfect note in their Women’s World Cup opener on Saturday. ‌

The forward is included as one of six former Stirling players in the national squad for the tournament in England, with their opening match against Wales set to be a decisive one in potentially sealing progress through the knockout rounds. ‌

But ahead of the big kick-off in Salford at the weekend, Eva was to receive a special surprise in the shape of a musical project which had been the brainchild of dad Ray and his brother Ian in the months leading up to the event. ‌
