A 47-year-old man was shot in Belltown Monday evening, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed.

The man was shot near Third Avenue and Blanchard Street. When patrol officers responded to the scene, they found the 47-year-old with a gunshot wound to his leg. Officers provided medical aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived, at which point they continued treatment and eventually transported him to Harborview Medical Center.

The victim is currently in stable condition, as of this reporting.
