A Scots dad was left unable eat after being diagnosed with a 10cm cancerous tumour. ‌

Chris Russell, from Kilmarnock, became extremely unwell after medics diagnosed him with a form of testicular cancer called a germ cell tumour in March. Test revealed the 38-year-old had a 10cm tumour that had developed in his abdomen. ‌

Chris was put through gruelling chemotherapy treatment at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in Glasgow. He has now completed chemotherapy and is awaiting a scan before surgery to remove the tumour. ‌

As Glasgow Live reports, he celebrated the major milestone by taking part in the Off the Beatson Track in Glasgow alongside his parents, partner Louise and children Poppy, Brae, Pippa and Remi.
