The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $815 million, the seventh-largest prize in the lottery game’s history.
The prize hit this substantial figure after no ticket hit all six numbers drawn on Monday. Despite nobody hitting the jackpot, two tickets won $1 million prizes, five won $150,000 prizes and 26 tickets snagged $50,000 prizes.
This latest prize follows behind the sixth-largest Powerball jackpot of $842.4 million set in January of 2024. The largest jackpot in Powerball history was $2.04 billion won back in November of 2022.
Wednesday marks the next drawing and opportunity to win a significant sum of money. Wednesday’s drawing will be the 38th drawing since the jackpot was last won by a player in California on May 31.
