Covid cases have spiked in a Spanish tourist hotspot loved by UK tourists this summer.
Medical professionals are referring to the infection, called variant 'XFG', as "the new flu" , with symptoms appearing much less severe than the pandemic, reports Express.co.uk.
Even though flu usually strikes in Winter, air conditioning is thought to be spreading the germs in hot weather in Malaga, Spain.

Owner of a pharmacy in the capital, Asunción Pérez de la Masa, stated: " Covid tests are selling out again.
"We're noticing this throughout the month of August," she said, speaking to Diario Sur.
She stressed that tests ar
