August 26, 1934 - August 23, 2025 (age 90)

Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, L. Val Anderson, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, just days before his 91st birthday.

He was born on August 26, 1934, in Millville, Utah, to Lyman Dart Anderson and Loretta Qualman. Val grew up in Millville and graduated from South Cache High School in Hyrum, Utah. He later served honorably in the United States Army. He served a two-year mission to the Northwestern states mission. Years later he was invited on the Military Honor Flight to Washington D.C. to honor him for his years in service. On April 17, 1959, he married his sweetheart, Marla, in the Logan Utah Temple. Together they shared 65 wonderful years before her passing on August 8, 2024.
