CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A former Cincinnati police officer in attendance for Monday’s vote of no confidence in Mayor Aftab Pureval is offering an inside account of what happened.
The Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 69 unanimously voted on a motion to say they have no confidence in Cincinnati’s mayor.
Former FOP president Dan Hils was at the union hall Monday for the vote.
“When they asked for anybody that disagreed, there was not a peep,” Hils described. “Not a single peep. There was nobody in that hall that disagreed. No confidence in Mayor Pureval.”
