The Phillies placed reliever Jordan Romano on the 15-day injured list with right middle finger inflammation, brought up right-handers Daniel Robert and Lou Trivino from Triple-A Lehigh Valley and released pitcher Joe Ross after Monday night's game.

The 30-year-old Robert has made 12 relief appearances this season and has a 5.79 ERA (6 ER, 9.1 IP) with 12 strikeouts to eight walks. Nine of his 12 appearances this year have been scoreless. He was reinstated from the 15-day injured list and optioned to Lehigh Valley on Aug. 17. His three appearances (2.1 IP) with the IronPigs since then have all been scoreless. Robert originally signed with the Texas Rangers as a non-drafted free agent on May 10, 2018, and was acquired by the Phillies in exchange for minor league pitcher Enrique Segu
