OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - Professional pickleball is coming to the Kansas City metro beginning next year.

On Tuesday, the Association of Pickleball Players (APP) and Visit Overland Park announced a five-year partnership to make the Johnson County city a stop on the APP Tour in 2026.

It’ll be one of 12 stop on the national APP Tour with the first event in Overland Park being held Sept. 16-20, 2026, at AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk.
