Now that the 53-man roster has been settled, at least for the moment, we can start looking ahead to the first game of the season. The Dallas Cowboys will travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Sept. 4th, the opening game of the 2025 NFL season.

There have been a lot of positives for the Cowboys offseason. The acquisition of George Pickens. A draft class that looks like it will contribute. The emergence of Brian Schottenheimer as a confident leader. The Cowboys were also much more active in filling out the roster this offseason, a welcomed change from the previous years dormant offseason.
