Roma have given up on their pursuit of Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho and are concentrating on deals for Liverpool and Chelsea players.

Sancho has been linked with a number of clubs this summer with his Manchester United career seemingly at an end.

He spent last season on loan at Chelsea but the Blues opted against signing him on a permanent basis, despite an agreement to do so.

The England international is not in Ruben Amorim’s first team plans, was left out of pre-season action and has been told to find a new club, but that is proving tricky.

Sancho is reportedly earning around £300,000-a-week at Old Trafford, which is not a salary any interested party is going to meet.
