The Seahawks established an initial 53-man roster on Tuesday with a series of moves, which included a trade that sent tackle Michael Jerrell to Atlanta.

In addition to releasing vested veterans and waiving players, the Seahawks also placed two players, guard Christian Haynes and receiver/return specialist Steven Sims, on injured reserve. Defensive linemen Johnathan Hankins and rookie Rylie Mills will both open the season on the non-football injury list.

The initial 53-man roster includes 11 rookies, eight of 11 members of the 2025 draft class, as well as three undrafted rookies, tight end Nick Kallerup, outside linebacker Jared Ivey and outside linebacker Connor O'Toole.
