Recently released Seattle Mariners utilityman Dylan Moore is joining the Texas Rangers on a minor league deal, The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reported Tuesday afternoon.

The 33-year-old Moore was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Saturday and placed on unconditional release waivers Sunday, clearing the way for the utilityman to sign with another organization.
Moore was the longest-tenured Mariners players upon his release, having signed with the club in November 2018.
Over seven seasons in Seattle, the 2024 AL Gold Glove utilityman hit .205 with a .691 OPS, 82 doubles, 11 triples, 61 home runs, 192 RBIs and 116 stolen bases in 671 games.
