ORANGE, Texas — The Orange Economic Development Corporation has approved $1.5 million in funding to support construction of a new H-E-B grocery store in the city.
Council member Larry Spears thinks the dollar amount should offer enough to entice the grocery chain.
Kelvin Knauf has told 12News that H-E-B is in the process of purchasing the Northway Shopping Center, but has not yet closed on the deal.
