One of President Donald Trump's most high-profile supporters broke with him on Tuesday over one of the president's signature complaints.
Joe Rogan, who endorsed Trump during the 2024 election, said on a recent episode of his podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience," that Trump's complaints about the 2020 election being stolen are unfounded.
Rogan's comments come at a time when Trump has sought to find a narrative to distract from his administration's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Over the last month, Trump has tried to relitigate issues related to the 2020 election, from attempting to ban mail-in voting to threatening Colorado officials if they don't release Tina Peters from prison.
Peters is serving a nine-year sentence for sharing passwords to Mesa County, Colorado's voting systems.
"I don't think they have any evidence," Rogan said about Trump's claims that the 2020 election was stolen.
Rogan said one of the reasons why he is skeptical is that he hasn't heard any evidence from the Trump administration about who committed the fraud and how they are being punished.
"If that was you or if that was me, or there was some reason why I knew that they did something, and I could give you all the facts, I would have that ready for anybody," Rogan said. "For four f------ years they've been telling him he's crazy for questioning the election. So after four years, I'd have a f------ tight 10 minutes on the election where I could rattle off at you and rock your world with it like 'These are the facts, Jack.'"
